Thailand Travel Guide

Thailand, officially the Kingdom of Thailand, is a country in Southeast Asia. The official language is Thai and the population has grown to almost 70 million people, per recent estimates. As tourism is one of the top industries it is traveler friendly, and our Thailand travel guide will help prepare you.

The official currency is the baht and Thailand is known as an inexpensive travel destination. Don’t mistake that for a lack of luxury though. Money goes a long way and with a lot of high end restaurants and hotels, especially in Bangkok, it can be easy to accidentally spend much more than planned. Our travel guides below will help teach you how to travel Thailand cheap.

Flights

Thailand has multiple international airports in various parts of the country including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Phuket. Of course it depends on where you are coming from but international flights into Bangkok tend to be cheap. Additionally, domestic flights within Thailand are also very affordable. See our guide linked below on how to find cheap flights.

When is the best time to visit Thailand?

It’s important to take the weather into account when determining when to visit Thailand. Thailand is usually warm and humid. The best time to visit is in the dry season between November and early April. During this time the temperature ranges between 84°F (29°C) to 93°F (34°C).
